Region 2 Kickoff Dog Weight Pull
The International Weight Pull Association has started their 2011-2012 season on September 1st. The first pull for our region is scheduled for the weekend of September 24th and 25th. This year is a great year to start learning what some people already enjoy doing with their best furry friend. Training is available for those interested in exploring what their dog can do. It is fun for all the members of the family and is totally safe and fun for the dogs. Check out our web site for additional information at: www.IWPA.net
What makes this year special for IWPA and their members is after the end of IWPA's season, on March 31, 2012, the top three winners from all the regions throughout the United States and Canada are invited to compete at the International Championships held somewhere within the United States and Canada sometime between mid April and early May. I am proud to announce that Region 2 (WA, ID, OR and BC Canada) is hosting the International Championships tentatively to be located at Cabela's Outfitters in State Line, ID.

Weigh In: 11:00 am-12:30 pm Pull Start: 1:00 pm
Sunday: Wheels
Weigh In: 9:00 am-10:00 am Pull Start: 10:30 am
Cost: $15 for first dog / $10 ea add'l dog
Training is free with loaner harnesses available to use either before the competition or just after the last pull of the day. Training during the week evenings also can be arranged. Also welcome to compete at the regular cost.
