Blue Library Buzz
Mark you calendars! Saturday, February 4th 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. is the biggest, baddest used book sale this community has ever seen! Friends of Lakeside Library will be presenting this community event at Lake Spokane Elementary School Cafeteria. We have hundreds of books to sell at unbelievable prices. You don’t need much money to buy a nice bag of books.
I’m very proud of my Friends of the Library for collaborating with the school to make this event happen. Because we are a small community, we know the school does not have all the money they need for their library. So, the idea of having a joint sale where both the school and public library can benefit is pure genius! Now we just need EVERYONE in the community to come to the sale and spend a couple of dollars. The money raised will be used for books at the school and projects at the Lakeside Library.
The Nine Mile School District is a community partner of the Lakeside Library. We collaborate on grants, sit on committees together, work with teachers on special projects, display student artwork, and more. Working with the school district makes the Lakeside Library, and our entire community, even more awesome!
So, please stop by the Friends of Lakeside Library book sale on February 4th 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Lake Spokane Elementary School. We promise a great sale, great prices, and a great time to be had by all! Be there or be square…I mean it! See you at the book sale!
