U12 Cutting Edge Wins First Place In Regional Volleyball Tournament
The U12 Cutting Edge Volleyball team, made up of ten Lakeside Middle School 6th graders (and one former Nine Miler) took first place at the first region tournament of the season at North Central High School on January 29th. They didn’t drop a single game on the road to the championship, beating teams from Spokane, Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene and Colville. Edge beat Sideout (Mead) in an exciting final match to win the championship with their powerful serves, awesome plays, and true heart, character and sportsmanship.
