Annual $1 Million Giveaway To Fight Hunger Now Underway
Donations To Local Food Pantry Can Earn Matching Money
For the 15th consecutive year, Alan Shawn Feinstein and the Feinstein Foundation will divide $1 million among hunger fighting agencies nationwide, using the money to help them raise funds this March and April. A million dollars will be divided proportionately among all complying agencies.
Agencies that receive donations from March 1st to April 30th will be eligible to receive some of the Feinstein challenge money. The more donations made to them, the more of the Feinstein challenge money they will receive. Donations can include cash, checks and food items (valued at $1.00 per item or pound). Participating agencies can receive a minimum of $250 and a maximum of $35,000.
