Body Pulled from Long Lake
STEVENS COUNTY, Washington - Stevens County officials pulled a body out of Long Lake Sunday afternoon (May 6th) . The victim has been identified as James Adam Ramsey Lassiter, 25, who disappeared March 31 while canoeing. His vehicle was found earlier at the Bowl and Pitcher area.
Motorcycle Fatality on Hwy 291
STEVENS COUNTY, Washington - Fifty-seven year-old J.D. Romaneschi died in a motorcycle wreck Sunday, May 6th. It happened just before 12:30 p.m. on Highway 291 near Tum Tum. Romaneschi was headed northbound on his motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle crossed the highway, striking a guard rail.
