Pajama Party Kicks Off Summer Reading
Program Starts Tuesday, June 19, in Loon Lake And Wednesday, June 20, at Lakeside Middle School
Don’t you love the idea of staying in your pajamas all day? We do, too! So we are inviting all kids grade K-5 to join us on Wednesday, June 20th, at 1:00 at Lakeside Middle School for a pajama party to kick off our Summer Reading program.
Come in your favorite pajamas. Bring a cuddly, stuffed friend or your most comfy pillow. We will share bedtime stories, play games and do a craft. We have lots of room in the Lakeside Middle School cafeteria, so bring a friend or neighbor along with you. You can sign up for summer reading after we have finished our activities.
We challenge you to read every day this summer and reach a goal of reading 20 hours! Kids will get a cool reading certificate when they have read 20 hours. Join us on Wednesday, June 20th at 1:00 in the Lakeside Middle School cafeteria for the Summer Reading Pajama Party. No sign-up necessary. Just show up and have fun. There will be two more summer reading activities on July 11 and August 1. If you live in the Loon Lake area, the same program will be offered there on Tuesday, June 19th. Dream Big and Read!
