Graduation
Amber, Dana & Ashley Michie
The last couple of weekends have been busy with graduation celebrations. Not only have many of our friends’ children graduated this year, but my two oldest daughters have graduated as well.
My second oldest daughter, Amber Michie, graduated from her first year of The Masters Commission. The Masters Commission is an intense discipleship-training program dedicated to making Disciples of Christ. She attended a program sponsored and held at “The River Church” in Post Falls, ID. It has been exciting to see her grow while participating in this program. She is taking a job in Post Falls for the summer and is planning to attend the program again next fall.
My oldest daughter, Ashley Michie, graduated with a degree in Journalism from Seattle Pacific University. She has studied and worked very hard over the last four years. She is going to work as a nanny for a couple of months before going to Guatemala on a missions trip. She is looking for an internship with several Christian media companies. I am very proud of both my daughters and their accomplishments.
