Become A Member! Put Your Ideas And Energy To Work!
The organization needs more members. They have a few fundraisers scheduled now that need more man power. They would love to get more ideas on what they can do NOW, and how they can be an immediate presence in the community. There is no dues structure, but they do have some attendance/participation expectations for members and associate members.
Donate And Support This Great Cause!
Don’t have time to volunteer or be a member? Cold hard cash is always welcome! Donations will be used to save for a shelter and, at this time, assist in making spays, neuters and vaccines affordable. Consider having a yard sale or bake sale and donating part of the proceeds.
Foster An Animal In Need
If you have room in your home, foster an animal until a permanent home is found. By providing a nurturing temporary environment, you can help animals mature, heal, socialize, and become or remain adoptable. Fostering is a very rewarding experience and vital to the organization’s future.
Other Ways To Help
Lend your artistic talents to design newsletters or T-shirts or come up with other fundraising ideas. They also need people to take pictures at local NEWHS events.
Discuss adoption or fostering with friends and family if they are considering getting a pet.
