School’s Out
Growing up, one of my most anticipated days of the year was the last day of school. There was something freeing, knowing that carefree summer days were ahead. Growing up in rural southern Stevens County, my summers were filled with fishing, camping, and all kinds of adventure. The summers were not always fun and games, as we also had a lot of tedious projects to do.
Though those days have long passed , I can still feel the excitement of the last day of school through my children. I hope that everyone has a safe and fun filled summer. Cue the “Alice Cooper - School’s Out”...
