Free CPR Class Set For July 11 In Springdale

Stevens Fire District #1 continues to offer free CPR classes to District 1 residents. The classes are designed to help family and neighbors assist each other until fire personnel arrive on scene.

The next class is scheduled for Wednesday, July 11th, at 7:00 pm. This class will be held at the Springdale Fire Station #7.

These classes are provided free as the District obtained a grant from the Empire Health Foundation to cover the costs.

Registration for the July 11th class is open and places can be reserved by calling 509-262-9660.

The class after this one will be offered in Tum Tum on August 8th.

Classes are limited to the first 14 people to sign up. Participants must be at least 14 years of age. Families are encouraged to attend together, and they can bring younger children.

Non-profit groups can also participate but need to set up their own classes. These can also be arranged by calling the District Office at 509-262-9660.
