4th of July Community Event
For seven years, the Lake Spokane Chamber of Commerce has held an annual 4th of July community celebration at the Lakeside Middle School. This annual event is also home to the Suncrest Auto Parts annual Show and Shine open car show. If you are not planning to attend this year’s event, I would like to encourage you to do so. Many area businesses, as well as political candidates and community organizations, will be represented at this event. With the car show, vendor booths, entertainment and Fireworks display, there should be something for everyone to enjoy. For the kids, there are games and other activities. With the 4th of July holiday falling in the middle of the week, it should have an excellent turn out.
Please help support this community event by stopping by this Friday or Saturday to make a donation at one of the collection locations. Volunteers will be at the intersection of Suncrest Drive and Hwy 291 across from the fire station.
Regardless if you make it to the 4th of July event or not, please have a happy and safe holiday. BTW: Next Wednesday is the 4th of July, and there is no mail service. The Outpost will be delivered on Thursday instead. If you just can’t wait till Thursday, copies will be available at our office and on newsstands.
