June Adele Voeller

January 8, 1935 - June 21, 2012

 


June Adele Voeller, 77 of Nine Mile Falls, WA, formerly of Great Falls and Seeley Lake, MT, a retired interior decorator, died of natural causes Thursday, June 21, at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane.

Her memorial was held at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish in Great Falls, MT with a reception following. Cremation was under the direction of Community Cremation Service of Spokane.

June was born in Iron Mountain, MI on January 8, 1935 to John and Viola Widish. In 1943, her family moved to Montana, where she graduated from high school in Neihart. Following graduation, she married Bud Osterman and moved to Great Falls, they were married for 21 years and raised five daughters. June worked as in interior decorator for more than 30 years. In 1980 she met and married the love of her life, Marcus Voeller. They were married for 31 wonderful years. After retiring, they moved to Seeley Lake, where they became involved in the community. In 2007, they moved to Nine Mile Falls, WA, near Spokane. June loved painting, decorating, crafting, cooking and gardening. Her happiest times were with her family and friends. She will always be remembered as our beloved Nana.

Survivors include her husband, Marcus J. Voeller of Nine Mile Falls; daughters Laurie (Osterman) Kirk of Fallbrook, CA. Jeanie (Osterman) McMaster of Ripley, MS, Tamera (Osterman) Wlaters of Deer Park, WA, Pamela (Osterman) Fosse (Greg) of Nine Mile Falls,, Sharon (Voeller) Kohles (Rory), Cheryl Voeller and Mark (Willow) Voeller of Great Falls; sister Joanne (Widish) Flesch of Great Falls; brothers Allen Mahanna of Arlington of Arlington Heights, Ill and Gene Widish of Whitehall; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Osterman; daughter Cynthia (Osterman) Hyndman; her parents, John and Viola Widish; her sisters, Florence McCurry and Norma McFrederick and brothers Lymon Stamper and Jim Widish.
