I Am Voting For Wes McCart
I am endorsing Wes McCart for Stevens County Commissioner, District 1. Having been active in the County and community for many years myself, I have had the opportunity to see how involved and active he is in many venues. He serves our County and area as an effective and active volunteer leader.
What strikes me most is his untiring support of private property rights. He understands that property rights are the foundation to the economic prosperity and well-being of Stevens County . I have witnessed time and again Wes standing up to defend the property rights of farmers, foresters, businesses and individuals from bureaucratic agendas. He provides expert testimony on water rights issues. He has served many years on the Lower Spokane River and the Colville River Watershed Committees and serves on the Water Conservancy Board.
He is an excellent and knowledgeable speaker, and testifies frequently on behalf of the common person. I know him to be a person who listens, constantly learns, and works towards positive results.
I believe him to be the most qualified candidate for County Commissioner. He has spent many hours at meetings in the area and knows and understands the issues. He will represent and defend the property rights of all, including the more densely populated areas of Southern Stevens County.
