Mark Beck for Commissioner
During my career of over three decades as a Deputy Sheriff and Sergeant with the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office, I had many opportunities to interact with the people holding the office of County Commissioner. It is a very demanding position that some handled quite well. There were others who had no business sitting on the board.
While I was a fire commissioner at Stevens County Fire Distrcit 1, it was my job to conduct the background check of prospective Fire Chiefs. In the course of my investigation of Mark Beck, I discovered a deep respect for him from his co-workers, both labor and management. I learned of his unselfish service to his fellow citizens, both on and off the job. After we hired Mark as Fire Chief of District 1, it became clear that this was an honest, hard working man with a good heart.
It is my sincere belief that the people of Stevens County would best be served if Mark Beck were elected to the Board of County Commissioners.
